Women’s experiences of health and wellbeing are very different to men’s, and not just in relation to areas of their anatomy. Women’s health and wellbeing are significantly influenced by their circumstances and life experiences. And women also experience changes to their health and wellbeing at different stages in their life.
That is why Women’s Health Matters has developed a range of information and resources to enhance the health and wellbeing of ACT women. These not only provide support for them to make informed health and wellbeing choices, but also provide support through different aspects of their lives.
We have developed these based on feedback from ACT women about gaps in local information, and we have worked with expert partners in the ACT to ensure we are providing the very best and the most up to date information
Each topic area also showcases the key pieces of work that Women’s Health Matters has undertaken in relation to each topic in our social research, advocacy, policy development and health promotion.
